Paddling Photos
Updated 9/16/2002
Unknown paddler near a tributary of Fish Creek, NY. We found a disposable waterproof camera early this year on the Fish that had several shots exposed already. We finally used up the camera and had the film developed. The other paddler (only 2 in group?) had a purple Riot. The other shots of Fish Creek are stunning! email me brabetz@midtel.net and I'll mail you the prints and negatives.Rob, Jon and Steve making an essential pitstop after kayaking the Tariffville Gorge on the Farmington. March 22, 1997. Sorry about the blurry photo.
George, Steve and Rob on the West Branch of the Sacandaga, just downstream of Iron Bridge. April 24, 1997. Photo taken by Jon Allison. This was one of my most worthwhile vacation days ever. I wrote up a trip report about our misadventures on the East Branch later in the day, but never submitted it. I'll have to dig it up.
Barbara's first time ever on moving water in a kayak! Jon Allison gives her an assist on her otter entry. Riparius to the Glen on the Hudson. March 29, 1997.
Just a typical day at Zoar Gap on the Deerfield River: (This photo is not faked.)
An unknown paddler in the middle of the last section of the Moshier section of the Beaver River.
His direction of travel, unfortunately for him, is back into the hole:
