This book is an account of one person's life. As you read through the chapters, you may doubt that this is an autobiography. It reads more like a novel. At times it reads like a humorous novel. Some chapters are sad. At other times it reads like a travelogue, visiting exotic foreign countries. Some chapters are learning experiences that might give you some ideas that might help you solve a problem in your life, or they might educate you about something you never knew before. I guarantee you that everything you read is true.
My goal is to encourage you and others, that despite hardship, discouragement, and all the trials of life, you can succeed.
I will use many personal examples of the challenges throughout my life, from childhood to the present.
This book is not all about gloom and doom or my failures and successes. Many of the chapters describe some of the exciting experiences I have had. You will learn about one of the most beautiful and fascinating places on earth via my two trips to Kenya, Africa. I will also take you to the British Isles, Costa Rica, Iceland, Sweden and Denmark, Austria, and the Soviet Union. You will laugh when you read how I overcame the fear of flying by taking flying lessons and eventually became a private pilot. You will read about the hilarity of my attempt to play golf, tennis and learn ballroom dancing. You will find out how I survived a near death experience.
The bottom line of this book is, as my father used to say to me, "there is no such word as I can't." You can and will succeed in life. Never give up. Just keep trying. My intent is to show you how I became successful through the many examples of my life experiences. Perhaps you just might be able to do the same by learning from this book.
