4/28/00 CVRA Albany-Saratoga Speedway Malta, NY 9th On another very rough Spingtime track, Jim took it easy on the car and from his 16th-place starting position worked his way up to his second Top 10 finish.

5/5/00 CVRA Albany-Saratoga Speedway Malta, NY 10th Jim was running strong in 3rd place and challenging the car in front of him when, with 2 laps to go, the 4th place car took himself and Jim out. Jim was able to get back up to 10th place.

5/12/00 CVRA Albany-Saratoga Speedway Malta, NY 3rd After slipping back to 5th from his 4th place starting position, Jim was able to make up two spots in the closing laps to record his 2nd top 5 and 4th Top 10 finish of the year.

7/28/00 CVRA Albany-Saratoga Speedway Malta, NY 5th On a very dry, slick track Jim motored his way to 4th from his 14th place starting spot before settling for a 5th place finish. Jim is currently 3rd in points.

8/4/00 CVRA Albany-Saratoga Speedway Malta, NY 23rd At the start of Friday night's feature, another competitor ran over the front end of Jim's car and sent him spinning down the front stretch, where he was hit again. The damage was too severe for Jim to continue.

8/18/00 CVRA Albany-Saratoga Speedway Malta, NY 5th From the 11th starting position, Jim worked with an ill-handling race car and kept his championship hopes alive with another Top 5 finish.

8/25/00 CVRA Albany-Saratoga Speedway Malta, NY 7th After spinning on lap 5 and going to the rear of the pack, Jim was able to get back up to 7th place. Jim is currently 3rd in points.

9/1/00 CVRA Albany-Saratoga Speedway Malta, NY 5th Jim was bounced around early in the race but managed to work his way up to 3rd before the rain started falling. No caution flag was thrown, and with one lap to go Jim slipped off turn 1 and fell back to 5th.

9/8/00 CVRA Albany-Saratoga Speedway Malta, NY 6th Jim came from 11th to 3rd in 7 laps, but then had something go away in the car which caused a bad push. Jim was able to hold onto 6th place.

9/23/00 CVRA Albany-Saratoga Speedway Malta, NY 15th Jim won his heat race going away and drew the outside pole for the 50-lap feature event. Jim motored his way to the lead on the first lap and had a straight away lead 20 laps into the race, then the rains came. Jim was unable to attend the race on the rain date.
