U8/U10 Age Group Changes for 2003/2004 Season

The following notice was posted on the CDYSL Website on 06/30/03. As we look to next year's traveling season, we'll have to address the issues presented

The CDYSL Games Committee has determined the changes in rules of Play for U8/U10 age groups for the 2003/2004 season. These changes follow from rulings of USYSA and ENYYSA that require a movement to small-sided play for the younger age groups (U6-U12). The CDYSL Games. Committee has also developed a transition strategy to comply with the USYSA/ENYYSA rules over the course of the next year. The Games Committee Report and a Summary of the changes for next year are found

in the forms/docs/info section of the CDYSL web site (http://www.cdysl.org/docs/docs.html). These documents contain information for clubs to consider so that a full transition plan can emerge over the next few months.
